Elizabeth A.M. Keel
Literary Manager/Resident Playwright
Elizabeth is a Houstonian playwright, director, actress, dramaturg, producer, and novelist. She serves as the Resident Playwright and Literary Manager for Mildred’s Umbrella, and is a proud double alumna of the University of Houston School of Theatre & Dance. She was deeply honored to collaborate on the development of this project. Her personal writing celebrates science fiction, fantasy, mythology, and magical realism on stage. Her plays have been read or produced by Mildred’s Umbrella, Tokyo International Players, The Studio Theatre at Tierra Del Sol, Shattered Globe, Wordsmyth Theatre, Growing Stage Children’s Theatre of New Jersey, Otherworld Theatre Company, Stages, METDance, Houston Contemporary Dance Company, Squeaky Bicycle, Flexible Grey, Landing Theatre Company, Cone Man Running, Fresh Produce’d (NYC), and 14 Pews, among others.
