“Hotel Pasiphae is a fascinating and bizarre collage of theater.”

- Lee Williams, Houston Press 2005

“Hotel Pasiphae”

Written By John Harvey

Directed by Patrica Duran

Design by Eric Doss

A mother remembers her husband sitting in a dark cave, her affair with a bull, the children she abandons to horrible fates. Mildred’s Umbrella presents an unusual evening of theater as Michelle Edwards becomes Pasiphae, wife of King Minos, mother of the Minotaur, in John Harvey’s new one-act play Hotel Pasiphae.

Directed by Patricia Duran and featuring multimedia by Eric Doss, Hotel Pasiphae reinvents Greek mythology through the memories of a woman unable to forget what she has done and who has been harmed.
